With half of the nation’s AI language model businesses and 80% of tech companies already using the platform, Alibaba Cloud is cementing its position as a key player in the Chinese tech industry. With 2.7 million developers, the company’s AI community, ModelScope, now boasts 2,300 models. The public can now use the company’s most recent artificial intelligence large language model, Tongyi Qianwen 2.0, through Alibaba Cloud’s mobile applications and website.
In response to the increasing demand for generative AI, Alibaba Cloud also unveiled its GenAI Service Platform, an all-in-one platform for creating AI models. The business promises to increase its contributions to open-source resources, such as ModelScope, a platform that offers ready-to-use AI models from top institutes.
